Wendy Conquest, Director of SACC and Therapist
Wendy's style in counseling is direct yet compassionate, focused and creative. Her passion is creating better ways for people to change and heal. Her 16 years in the field enables her to understand what engages her clients, allows for safety and connection and encourages them to be their ultimate best. Wendy works with men, women and couples. She graduated from University of Colorado at Denver with a Master's degree in Counseling Psychotherapy, is a Certified Therapist in Integrative Body Psychotherapy, BrainSpotting and Sex Addiction. In addition she has been the director and clinical supervisor for addiction programs along the front range starting in 2002. She is currently a Sex Addiction Supervisor and supervises Licensed Professional Counselor candidates. She is an author and does regular speaking engagements and has appeared on national and international television and radio.
Sloane Costello, Therapist
Sloane Costello has significant history working with substance and behavioral abuse and dependence. His keen insight aids clients quick understanding of origins, patterns and manifestations of addiction. Thoughtful, intuitive and compassionate, Sloane works with clients to achieve optimal change. He holds a Masters of Science in Counseling degree from California State University. Sloane works with male addicts individually and does couples sessions also.
Miguel Hornedo, Therapist
Miguel brings a diversity of skills and traits to helping clients who suffer from substance and behavioral abuse and dependence. His work in local jails as well as the many diverse clients he helped at Boulder Mental Health Partners where he led a group of recovering addicts has helped him gain valuable experience in this field. His empathy, compassion, and understanding of the client’s struggles in the area of addiction helps his clients on the path to self-understanding and recovery. Miguel holds a Master of Arts degree from Colorado Christian University. Miguel is fully fluent in Spanish and works with male addicts both individually as well as in groups and is working toward becoming a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist.
